Essential Workshops

Team Dynamics for Small Groups 

When individuals understand their innate strengths and those of their colleagues, they can unlock strategies to strengthen communication, teamwork, productivity and engagement. Designed for teams of nine or fewer employees, the Team Dynamics for Small Groups programme empowers attendees to discover their individual and collective preferences and utilise the Emergenetics Attributes to achieve greater performance and results. 

The programme will enable participants to: 

  • Uncover their innate strengths to enhance self-awareness  
  • Understand their teammates’ gifts and preferences for working  
  • Discover group tendencies and their impact on collaboration and decision making  
  • Identify practical strategies to improve communication and problem solving as a team

Meeting of the Minds 

Without self-aware employees, high-performing teams and a positive culture, your organisation will experience challenges in communication, collaboration, productivity and employee retention.  

Through the Meeting of the Minds, employees are empowered to use their strengths to achieve their potential and organisations are given the tools to maximise performance and create positive cultures.

Emergenetics offers several programmes to build on the learnings from our Essential Workshops and support the sustainable application of our theory to improve workplace dynamics and the achievement of objectives.  

Pre-requisites for follow-on learning experiences include: 

  • Attendees must have participated in a Team Dynamics for Small Groups or Meeting of the Minds prior to the programme. 
  • All programme participants must have an Emergenetics Profile

Appreciating Our Teams  

When team members struggle to appreciate differing work styles, disagreements can turn into unproductive conflict, alternative perspectives feel like stumbling blocks and projects stagnate. When teams collaborate successfully, they use their unique perspectives to address problems, understand the complete picture of any challenge they face and achieve better results.  

Through the Appreciating our Teams programme, your team members will learn to:

Negotiation at the Workplace  

In the workplace, negotiation is a form of collaborative problem solving that can lead to a shared understanding of team member’s needs and expectations. When employees can advocate for and achieve their desired outcome, it can lead to improved well-being, engagement and job satisfaction. 

The session on Negotiation aims to: 

  • Help individuals achieve win-win outcomes

Managing Change   

Change can be scratchy. When employees are asked to work differently or adjust to a new culture, it can be challenging to adapt. Some may resist the transformation and hold back forward progress. Even those who look forward to it may still struggle to shake off old habits. In our Managing Change workshop, employees will gain valuable tools to navigate change, understand how to support themselves and each other and learn to reach their full potential as new ways of operating are enacted. 

The Managing Change programme aims to: 

  • Help teams apply Emergenetics theory when navigating small and large shifts in the organisation  
  • Equip each team member with a common framework to adapt and improve 

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

Fostering Innovation   

The drive for innovation is a constant in business today. Teams and organisations are challenged to stay ahead of the competition, remain agile and anticipate the needs of their clients, and sometimes, it can feel like our creativity is tapped out. Through our Fostering Innovation workshop, attendees will discover personal strategies to inspire creativity, and teams and leaders will walk away with practical ways to build a culture that is conducive to ideation. 

Our Innovation programme aims to:

  • Provide practical ways to build a culture that is conducive to ideation

Enhancing Team Communication and Effectiveness 

When your team is performing at its best, employees are happier, timelines are accelerated, quality of work is better and results are stronger. To build high-functioning teams in your organisation, our Enhancing Team Effectiveness workshop will help you evaluate existing team dynamics and use Emergenetics and cognitive diversity to support your ongoing success. 

Our workshop on effectiveness aims to: 

  • Help teams understand how individuals may differ in terms of communication and working styles 
  • Empower team members to close gaps, enhance communication and collaboration across and within different teams and sub-teams

Leaders Retreat

Individual Emergenetics Profiles

A one-hour debrief of a person's Emergenetics Profile results, conducted by a Master Associate, to explore Thinking and Behavioural preferences and potential application in the workplace. Great for leaders and new hires!

Associate Certification  

Our Associate certification programme delivers a blended learning experience to build the skills needed to conduct our essential workshops – the Meeting of the Minds and Team Dynamics for Small Groups – as well as work with the Emergenetics Profile. 

Program Logistics 

  • Two consecutive days (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) 
  • Virtual or in-person, depending on dates  

Program Fees 

  • S$5,450 per person (includes 9% GST) 

By the end of this programme, participants will gain essential insights from our expert trainers and prepare to: 

  • Facilitate the Meeting of the Minds 
  • Debrief Emergenetics Profiles to reveal individual Thinking and Behavioural preferences 
  • Address team and group dynamics through the lens of Emergenetics 
  • Assemble cognitively diverse teams 

Participants will have access to Emergenetics’ learning experience platform, which will provide engaging digital courses that: 

  • Explore the science behind Emergenetics 
  • Provide instruction on how to build workshop presentations to engage their audiences 
  • Offer insights into analysing individual as well as group results and reports 
  • Prepare them to pass a final exam, which is required to become a Certified Emergenetics Associate 
Note:
  • Upon completion of the two-day programme, all attendees have 15 days to complete a capstone eLearning course and pass a final assessment to become a Certified Emergenetics Associate.
